God desires for you to live, to love, and be loved
The world does not want you to believe that God loves you. The reason why is that the world does not want you to live; to live is to love for love causes us to live.
The author of love and life is God, but the world does not want you to know this. Sadly, the world aims to lead you astray from life, away from God. This is why Jesus said, “[The world] hates me because I testify that its works are evil” (John 7:7).
Be sure of it: it is the dying world that wants you neither to live or to love, especially to love God. But the Lord desires us to live. He tells us time and time again: “For I take no pleasure in the death of man, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live!” (Ezekiel 18:32).
One fears death because death is against life. You are alive because the Lord is the “God of the living” and He has called you forth so that you may know of Him, love Him, and be loved by Him.
Fear only Him because in Him is only love, thus you may be freed from the slavery of the dying evil age.
The truth is that God loves you so much more than you yet realize, and He desires for you not only to live but to know of Him and His love. This is what Jesus meant when He said, “I am the way and the truth and the life.” (John 14:6)
He loves you so much that He became flesh to tell you. Indeed, He suffered the death of the flesh Himself so that you may live. It is why His last words were to a man who was being put to death by this world and that His words were about eternal life: “I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43).
